TOGAF 9
I’ve been working my way through TOGAF 9. A huge improvement over its predecessors, and I’m particularly pleased to see the introduction of the Architecture Content Framework. The certification process also seems to have improved – now its an exam, rather than just endurance of death by powerpoint. I’m still not sure whether certification is really worthwhile – knowledge of the content of a book is still not the same as knowledge of what to do in different circumstances. The home page asks “Why become certified?”. Still an open question…
