Us Now

I’m sorry I did not manage to get to the premiere of Us Now in London, but of course you can watch it online.  It makes the case for Government 2.0 very well, with especially pointed comments from Don Tapscott and Clay Shirkey.  I think everyone in public service should watch it.

But, the more I study mass collaboration, the more I worry that a blind leap to use mass collaboration for all decisions could lead to disaster.  For me, noone has put this concern into words more effectively than Matthew Parris, in this article in the The Times a couple of years ago, and even more alarmingly in this one in 2001.
